Is PE_Stud v. 2.2.0.5 Malware Free?

Post by john »

Hi,

I saw Pe_Stud and downloaded it from http://www.cgsoftlabs.ro/studpe.html

I always check files for viruses first so I checked the file using www.virustotal.com, the result I got was

Code: Select all

AntiVir 6.34.1.27 05.09.2006  no virus found

VBA32 3.11.0 05.08.2006 suspected of Trojan-Dropper.Delf.34 (paranoid heuristics)
The heuristics spot the file as being "suspicious" and I am just wondering if you can give your gaurantee that the file is clean and has no kind of malware at all. Also if the file is clean this is to let you know about it, so you can contact the anti-virus companies and explain to them that your file is not a virus

Hi
You do the right thing ckecking files

I can guarantee that the file is clean!..like all other software you download from cgsoftlabs.

Stud_PE 2.2.0.5 is packed with an intermediate version of eXPressor which was not available to anyone.

Also you can check for the latest night build in case of StudPE is 2.3.x.x. See registered users area. http://makephpbb.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=10&mforum=cgsoftlabs

Thanks for the quick reply.

I went to the Nightbuilds and was looking at the changes for v 2.3.0.1 it said to use the link in the first thread but when I went to the link in the first thread it said.
403 Forbidden Error

OOPS... You don't have direct access to some files on my server!

If you search for some zip files like (exPressor, Stud_PE, IETools, Trilliwamp etc.)

visit www.cgsoftlabs.ro

if not.. e-mail me
Are the files on the main website considered the stable release and the nightbuilds kind of like beta until they are confirmed that no new bugs were introduced?

By the way your software is good thanks :)

Fixed that lnk..you can download it;

nightbuilds..are between official releases; and who knows if there will be new releases  ; people will find over years of using this tool that there is a small nightbuild hidden on some registered area :)

The latest version from the Nightbuilds section doesn't have the Plugins and Pluginds SDK folder. Shall I keep those folders from the version on the main site and just move them into the new versions folder?
